Squinting through dry, bloodshot-red eyes, I lean over the helm of my craft and pound blindly at the controls. Wrists, inflamed with carpel tunnel, scream for relief but there is none. In the nine sleep-deprived years aboard my cruiser, the Freelancer, I have battled outer forces, inner demons and other nameless absurdities. But today – yes, today – I embrace the Vertical Curve of Learning that inevitably will lead to that panacea of fulfillment, that veritable Promised Land. Yes, today, I start… to blog.
