Napo, Southern China – A dozen or so switchbacks up from the valley bottom town of Napo is a demonstration town – cultural heritage site of ‘Black Zhuang’, one of 55 recognized ethnic minorities in the country.
This is a day-in-the-life set of vignettes from that village. (5:09 duration)
fabulous work Craig, I love the tension.

Now that is as fine an observation of any of my work as I have ever heard. Isn’t amazing how similar the tensions of rural China compare to those of us here in the New World as rural British Columbians, even orchardists such as yourself, see our families succome to the pressures of urbanization. Thanks for viewing.
Outstanding piece of work Craig. Really enjoyed viewing it.
I’m interested in knowing what editing software you’re using for HD Multmedia production.
Hope your enjoying the first day of spring…it’s dumping wet snow here in Kaslo. (: Cheers. Doug
Thanks Doug, being the intrepid traveler you are I appreciate you taking the time to check out the work. I’m using Final Cut Pro for video stuff, but for quick but polished slideshows, I’ve been using Fotomagico. You can demo a copy here http://boinx.com/fotomagico/overview/. You have to actually purchase the stuff if you want to remove their watermark. And yeah, we’re definitely sucking up Day 1 of Spring here with beautiful sun and wind whipping up dust from the TCH. Cheers!
